In Cold Lake, Spring Fling is the Thing!
Portage College hosts kids carnival this Friday at the Energy Centre

Portage College is excited to once again host a Spring Fling Kids Carnival at the Cold Lake Energy Centre Field House on Friday, April 26 from 4:00 to 10:00 pm.

This free event will feature children's entertainer, singer and Juno Award Nominee, Mary Lambert. The fun does not stop there. Organizers have also booked The Joe Show, featuring a mixture of magic, puppets, and comedy which all children will enjoy.

Back by popular demand are the bouncy houses, face painting and balloon twisting events. Portage College staff will be volunteering their time and skills to oversee craft and game stations.

Guests will also be able to enjoy a free hotdog supper along with  delicious cake and other goodies. The evening will be topped off by a viewing of Disney's Ralph Breaks The Internet. Last year more than a thousand children and their parents attended this fun event, and from all reports they had a great time.

"We were so pleased with the overwhelming response to our Spring Fling Kids Carnival last year that we are excited to bring back the free, family-friendly event again this year," said Nancy Broadbent, President and CEO Portage College. "We hope to see you there!"

We would like to extend a huge thank you to the City of Cold Lake for supplying the venue and the bouncy houses and to Lorrain's No Frills in Cold Lake for helping with the dinner.
