Develop your mechanical talents into great employment opportunities! Train in engine fundamentals, service and repair, engine systems, diesel fuel injection systems, electronic fuel management and heavy duty charging and cranking systems. This program offers a flexible, blended learning mode--12 weeks of theory is available live online, with additional support tutorials. The live classes provide a real classroom-like experience from the comfort of home in your community. Supports include online discussion forums, chats, email and telephone. Classes are recorded for playback to review theory or use later as a study support. The remaining four weeks will be practical, face to face time in our shop at the Lac La Biche campus.
Employment opportunities may include specialized repair shops, companies and organizations that own or lease heavy equipment used in the construction, mining, forestry, material handling, landscaping, land clearing, agricultural and transportation industries.
