This free in-person series at Portage College, St. Paul Campus, helps newcomers learn about Canadian life, language, and law in a friendly space. Each session includes lunch, conversation, and practical learning.

Nov 18: Canadian Holidays and Celebrations – learn the meaning and stories behind major Canadian holidays and traditions.
Dec 2: Canadianisms – Words and Sayings – discover common Canadian slang, phrases, and expressions through group activities.
