Graduate and full-time faculty member of Portage College, Donna-Lee Wowk has been featured in a video by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta.
In the video below, Wowk speaks passionately about her profession and the vital contribution Licensed Practical Nurses make in the delivery of health care to Albertans.
Wowk graduated from the Portage College Practical Nurse Program in 2003. In addition to her clinical practice, she has worked with the Practical Nurse Program at Portage College in various roles over the last few years. In January of 2016, she accepted a full-time faculty member position teaching Practical Nurse Students in the two year diploma program.
We are very proud to have her on our team, teaching and mentoring the next generation of Practical Nurses at Portage College!
