"We are so pleased that we can offer Natural Resources Technology students from Portage College a new pathway to our world-class degree program in environmental and conservation sciences through this block-transfer agreement."

Recently it was announced that the NRT student graduates also have the opportunity to transfer into the third year of the Bachelor of Applied Science: Environmental Management degree at Lakeland College as well as new bridging into the third year of the Bachelor of Applied Science at Lethbridge College: in the Ecosystem Management, Restoration or Fish and Wildlife Management, or Conservation Enforcement streams.

"Portage College is working to create more opportunities for students to move on to other post-secondary institutions to advance their studies, and we are very excited to work with our Alberta post-secondary partners to create seamless pathways for our students," said Guy Gervais, Associate Vice President Academic at Portage College. "These block transfer agreements recognize and reinforce the quality of our curriculum and instruction within the Natural Resources Technology diploma program at Portage College."
