Pre-Apprenticeship Heavy Equipment Technician

This program starts with academic upgrading, then heavy equipment technician training – both theory and practical and concludes with on-the-job technical training. All students will receive support in job placements which may be used for apprenticeship hours. Students will each participate in an 8-week, 200-hour, trade-appropriate work placement. Upon completion, you will graduate with a certificate which will allow credits towards apprenticeship training in the future.

Please visit the College Preparation website for the list of academic upgrading courses and the Pre-employment heavy equipment technician page for a list of heavy equipment technician courses.
