ABOUT THE POSITION
Portage College is seeking a part-time Job Coach to support a cohort of individuals with diverse learning needs in building job skills and gaining hands-on work experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering tailored workshops focused on employment readiness.
- Providing individualized job coaching and mentorship.
- Tracking participant progress and measuring community impact through data collection and reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is considered an asset.
- Background in instructing adult learners, preferably in a post-secondary setting.
- Demonstrated excellence in communication, organization, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Flexibility and willingness to travel as required.
