Five post secondaries in northern Alberta pen historic Memorandum of Understanding

Portage College and four other northern Alberta post-secondaries have signed a new agreement. At its core, the partnership aims to ensure that post-secondary education in northern Alberta remains accessible, relevant, and sustainable. ER nurse says Portage College Paramedic grads are so good, she and her step-dad enrolled in the program

Taylor Resendes is an ER nurse from Sylvan Lake who is taking the Advanced Care Paramedic program at Portage College because she has seen first-hand how well-trained the program's graduates are. Resendes and her step-dad, Cory Christopherson, are both in the two-and-a-half-year program and say they continue to be impressed by the outstanding training offered at Portage College.
