Portage College is committed to providing our visitors with a website that respects their privacy.

This Privacy Policy summarizes the way Portage College collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users ("User" or "Users") and includes this website, http://portagecollege.ca ("The Site").

The College collects personal information from prospective students during marketing and recruitment campaigns, and during the application process. Information gathered is used for student recruitment and marketing, as well as other purposes such as; statistical analysis and research to help us review, improve and develop College programs.

Portage College has implemented all reasonable controls to make sure that your information stays safe, however, we cannot guarantee the complete security of stored information. This privacy policy applies to information collected through our website and does not include information collected offline.

This Site contains links to other sites.  We are not responsible for the content and the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read the privacy policy of each site that you visit before proceeding further.

Information we Collect

When you visit The Site we automatically log your IP address, browser type, access time, click path and other information used to conduct website evaluations, to monitor our website and visitor traffic, to provide you with tailored advertising based on your interests or based on your visit to our website, and to keep track of other online usage data such as click paths and the websites visited immediately before and after using The Site.

The Site uses cookies to track this data. Any information that we collect is used for the purposes of administering The Site, to personalize your web experience, to respond to your contact requests, to improve our website, to analyze The Site statistics and usage, and to provide you with tailored marketing and advertising.

The Site uses trusted third-party marketing agencies and vendor re-marketing tracking cookies, web beacons, and other storage technologies to collect or receive information from The Site and elsewhere on the internet. We must obtain the consent of anyone whose name may be retained in our records to receive products or information. The customer can at any time withdraw consent to receive further information or products. We will then remove the customer's name as quickly as possible.  If you do not consent to the terms of the policy as it applies to the website, please stop using the website.

It may sometimes occur that a name that we have deleted on request from our files may appear on one of the lists we have acquired. In such a case the customer may request another deletion.
