Fall 2021 Return Announcement
March 19, 2021

Portage College is cognizant that current and prospective students are making plans for their education this fall and are anxious to know whether they’ll be attending classes online or in person when the calendar reaches August and September. At this time, the College is asking them to remain patient, as faculty and administrators work to finalize plans amidst an uncertain fall landscape and budget constraints. The College released the following statement on March 19, 2021.

“Portage College is planning to be back on campus as much as possible in Fall 2021. We are ready for students and we are hopeful that vaccinations will allow us to be at full capacity. Everyone’s safety is our top priority and the return to campus will comply with public health measures that are in place and with the guidance from the Ministry of Advanced Education. Of course, we will keep what we have learned through this pandemic and look to implement changes that have proven positive for students. We also look to the future to provide choice to students as we know many have appreciated the ability to study from home. Further, programs that were already blended in their delivery prior to COVID-19 will continue to be blended into the future. Further information will be posted on our website program pages, as our delivery plans are confirmed for each program. We thank you for your patience.”
