Portage College Paramedic Students Score Perfect Passing Rate on Exam
Portage College is proud to announce that the most recent graduating class of our Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) program has achieved a 100 percent pass rate on the February Canadian Organization of Paramedic Regulators (COPR) exam to receive their practice permit. This outstanding achievement underscores the exceptional quality of education provided by the ACP program and reflects the dedication and expertise of our faculty.
Not only did every one of our ACP program graduates pass the exam, but their average score far surpassed the national average, setting a new benchmark for academic excellence. Their remarkable performance highlights the quality of the curriculum, which equips students with both the technical skills and practical knowledge they need to succeed in the field.
“Congratulations to our paramedic students for achieving a 100 percent pass rate on the national COPR exam. This achievement demonstrates the dedication, hard work, perseverance, and commitment that the students have placed in their education and future practice,” said Shelley Franchuk, Curriculum Lead Coordinator of Paramedicine. “This accomplishment is a testament to our students’ skills and the outstanding support and instructional expertise provided by our faculty. We are incredibly proud of our students and faculty.
