Portage College is once again proud to work with Hope Haven Women’s Shelter for the annual Walk for Hope event in Lac La Biche.
The Walk begins at Ecole Ste. Catherine (former Central Elementary School) at 10 am. The procession passes Light of Christ School, to Main Street, along 103 Street beside Vera. M. Welsh, Aurora, and Off-Campus schools, and towards Portage College.
Stephanie Harpe, an international advocate for Murdered, Missing and Exploited Indigenous People’s is the guest speaker
Hot Dogs and refreshments will be served at the Portage College gymnasium for lunch.
