Find out what happened to the bats at a FREE Seminar at the Lac La Biche campus.
Portage College Instructor Darcey Shyry teaches in the Environmental Technician Diploma (ETD) program and is also a Regional Coordinator with the Alberta Community Bat Program (AlbertaBats.ca). He has been monitoring the bat population at Dillberry Lake Provincial Park for many years and happened to do a bat count a few days before a tornado roared through the park.
Darcey will also talk about bat conservation and monitoring and can answer questions you have about bats.
