On November 8, we come together to mark National Indigenous Veterans Day, honouring the important contributions of Indigenous People in service to Canada.
As we reflect, we remember those who lost their lives and those whose lives were forever changed. We hold their loved ones, families, and communities in our hearts.
Lest we forget.
Join us for a lunch and a chat with some of our Indigenous Veterans.
We acknowledge that Portage College’s service region is on the traditional lands of First Nation Peoples, the owners of Treaty 6, 8 and 10, which are also homelands to the Métis people. We honour the history and culture of all people who first lived and gathered in these lands.
