Our Native Cultural Arts and Fine Arts programs are designed to let you explore your personal expression. You will have a unique opportunity to study Aboriginal art as well as contemporary art within a studio environment. Develop your skills in producing and marketing your own creations.

Aboriginal Art Certificate

This one year certificate will provide you with the unique opportunity to study Aboriginal art forms and contemporary visual arts as well as other media and to experience learning in a studio environment.

Artisan Entrepreneurship Diploma

After successful completion of the Aboriginal Art certificate you may decide to continue your studies and earn your diploma in the Artisan Entrepreneurship program. This program will build on your existing knowledge and expertise and expand your career potential.

Fine Arts Certificate

This one year certificate will provide you with the opportunity to move onto other post-secondary institutions to pursue a Bachelor in Fine Arts.

Artist in Residence

The Artist in Residency program brings an artist to Portage College for a three month span. This program provides the time and space for the artist to research new ideas and experiment with different techniques and means of production.
