Portage College has developed and nurtured a number of partnerships to increase access to programs for students. These partnerships give students opportunities to stay in their own communities.
LEARN
Labour Education Applied Research North (LEARN) is a joint initiative created in 1995 between the Northern Alberta Development Council (NADC) and a group of northern Alberta post-secondary institutions.

Portage College would also like to acknowledge the tremendous support received from residents of our service region for our annual fundraisers and events, student scholarships and bursaries, and Voyageurs athletics.
We acknowledge that Portage College’s service region is on the traditional lands of First Nation Peoples, the owners of Treaty 6, 8 and 10, which are also homelands to the Métis people. We honour the history and culture of all people who first lived and gathered in these lands.
