Safety On Campus

Portage College provides security at the Lac La Biche campus. Staff are available to assist students should the need arise, and phones with direct lines to Campus Security are located at a variety of locations on campus. The use of video surveillance in various locations on campus helps our staff in their work. All of our Security Staff are certified in first aid and CPR and are trained to deal with safety and emergency situations.

Emergency Preparedness

If an emergency should occur, Portage College will carry out its Emergency Preparedness Plan, which covers a variety of possible scenarios. Students practice both shelter in place and evacuation procedures throughout the academic year.

Sexual Violence Prevention
