Power Play: Cole Rawson’s Portage from High School RAP to Control Room Operator
May 9, 2023Cole Rawson knew from a fairly early age that he wanted to work in the trades and technology sector. After researching his options, Rawson chose Portage College’s Power Engineering program at the Lac La Biche campus over programs in larger centres, since it was close to home and offered small class sizes.
We acknowledge that Portage College’s service region is on the traditional lands of First Nation Peoples, the owners of Treaty 6, 8 and 10, which are also homelands to the Métis people. We honour the history and culture of all people who first lived and gathered in these lands.
