A new design for the Portage College Voyageurs jersey was unveiled on June 20. The new look, created by a Portage College designer, highlights the nature and history of the region.
Portage College has received an traditional gift from Lac La Biche County's Indigenous relations staff. A ceremonial feather was presented to Portage College President and CEO Nancy Broadbent, thanking the College for its continuing partnerships and collaborations to create reconcili-action.
It took two days and four ceremonies - plus special Honour Ceremonies and Nurse Pinning Ceremonies - for all 1,241 graduates in the Portage College convocating Class of 2025 to be recognized. The June 5 and 6 events saw students graduating from 36 certificate and diploma programs.
