New collegiate institute opens career pathways for Lakeland high school students
June 13, 2025Portage College is working with Lakeland high schools to create pathways for grade 11 and 12 students to earn high school and post-secondary credits simultaneously in health care, education, and the skilled trades, thanks to a $2.3 million grant from Alberta Education.
We acknowledge that Portage College’s service region is on the traditional lands of First Nation Peoples, the owners of Treaty 6, 8 and 10, which are also homelands to the Métis people. We honour the history and culture of all people who first lived and gathered in these lands.
