Vaccine Program and COVID-19 health and safety measures on campus

As of Feb 16, the College has lifted the mandatory vaccine/rapid test requirement to come on campus. Employees, students and others will no longer have to show proof of being fully vaccinated or a negative rapid test to come on campus.

As of March 1, masks are no longer mandatory on campus, but the College continues to promote measures on how our College community can protect themselves:

  • Get fully vaccinated
  • Regularly wash hands, particularly after touching common surfaces
  • Avoid touching face with unwashed hands
  • Continue wearing a mask
We acknowledge that Portage College’s service region is on the traditional lands of First Nation Peoples, the owners of Treaty 6, 8 and 10, which are also homelands to the Métis people. We honour the history and culture of all people who first lived and gathered in these lands.
