The dictionary defines an Alumnus as a graduate of an educational institution. An “alumni” is the group of graduates.

Who Are Portage College Alumni Members?

• A previous student
• A previous staff member
• Previous or current Board Member
• Have previously engaged with the College in a collaborative effort.

Why Do I Have To “Sign Up”?

Unlike other educational institutions’ alumni associations- Portage College does not automatically include you in the Alumni. We want YOU to be a part of our group on your own volition. We want YOU to make the decision to be a part of the Voyageurs for Life coalition. As well, by signing up, we get your most current contact information on file.

How Do I Sign Up?

Pick up a brochure at any campus, e-mail teh alumni association and request a form, or complete the online form.

Am I An Alumni Member?

Yes, if you have attended Portage College at any time since 1968; even when it was called Alberta Vocational College, you are considered an alumni member and you should sign up to access our benefits package.

Let us know via email and we can add you to our list again. You might get a confirmation email to complete the process.

I Signed Up Years Ago…Am I Still An Alumni Member?

Yes you are. However, if you have moved or changed your name since you moved you will need to let us know as we might not have the most current information on file for you. Update your file today.

I Never Received An Alumni Card, What Can I Do?

• Not receiving a card may be due to many reasons among which are:
  • We do not have your most current information on file.
  • It got lost.
• Let us know by completing the following form and we can get you a new card as soon as possible.

Can I Access The Benefits Without Signing Up?

No, unfortunately not. To be able to benefit from our package you MUST be signed up. Some verification protocols are in place for these benefits so be sure to join today.
