ABOUT THE POSITION

Your work will include curriculum development, course planning, and ensuring everything aligns with our quality standards. We’re looking for someone who’s eager to make a real impact and contribute to an exceptional learning environment.Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver engaging, innovative courses, provide timely feedback, and support student recruitment, retention, and success.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, integrate best practices into teaching, and share new insights to maintain expertise.
  • Collaborate on curriculum development, foster a team-oriented environment, and contribute to departmental and College goals.
  • Assist in College and departmental planning, and support quality assurance and assessments

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Doctoral degree in Education (PhD or EdD).
  • A minimum of five years of related experience as an instructor.
  • Knowledge of the kindergarten to grade 12 system in Alberta.
  • Adult teaching/tutoring experience is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with Moodle or other Learning Management Software is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant computer skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and teaching needs.
  • A current police information check will be required for the successful applicant.
