Q.   How do I find out about current job opportunities at Portage College?
A.   Portage College advertises on the College's website and local newspapers, such as the Lac La Biche Post

Q.   How can I apply for job opportunities at Portage College?
A.   Email us or stop by our office in Room 203 at the Lac La Biche campus.

Q.   If I'm interested in applying for more than one job posting, do I need to submit more than one résumé?
A.   We do require separate résumés for each job posting

Q.   How can I tell if my résumé has been received?
A.   A confirmation email will be sent to you

Q.   When will I be contacted?
A.   We contact candidates within three weeks after the closing date

Q.   How many people are usually on the interviewing panel?
A.   There are a minimum of three people on the panel

Q.   Do interviews ever take place via SKYPE or by telephone?
A.   We do use SKYPE and phone interviews. However, we do like to interview in person so the candidate can experience the College and community

Q.   What can I expect at the interview?
A.   Questions are based on knowledge, skills, abilities and personal suitability

Q.   If I am requested to travel to attend an interview in person, will I be reimbursed for travel expenses?
A.   Reimbursement will be discussed at the same time as scheduling the interview

A.   Relocation assistance is subject to position
