On June 21, we honor National Indigenous Peoples Day, a day to celebrate the rich heritage and invaluable contributions of the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples across Canada. It's also a time to embrace the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, heralding a fresh season of growth and vitality.

Come together with us to mark this significant occasion.

We acknowledge that Portage College’s service region is on the traditional lands of First Nation Peoples, the owners of Treaty 6, 8 and 10, which are also homelands to the Métis people. We honour the history and culture of all people who first lived and gathered in these lands.
