Session Description:
Supporting families within Alberta’s child welfare system requires knowledge, empathy, and collaboration. This training is designed to equip professionals with the tools and strategies to advocate confidently, resolve conflicts effectively, and foster trust with families and Child and Family Services (CFS).

Participants will:
✅ Gain a deeper understanding of CFS processes, policies, and case planning.
✅ Learn practical strategies for empowering families and achieving positive outcomes.
✅ Explore techniques for conflict resolution and fostering collaboration within the child welfare system.

This session is ideal for frontline professionals in the social services sector and staff from community-based organizations working with families navigating Alberta’s child welfare system.
