Mental Health First Aider

BECOME A MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AIDER

If you’ve taken a physical first aid course; you’ve learned the skills needed to help someone experiencing a sudden illness or injury.

People can also have mental health crisis, and it is important that more Canadians know how to provide help in these situations too.

Mental Health First Aid is offered to someone with an emerging mental health problem or in a mental health crisis until appropriate treatment is found or the situation is resolved.

Course Name: MHFA for Individuals Who Interact With Youth (Virtual)

Description: Short on time but have always wanted to take a Mental Health First Aid course? This is the course for you! This 10 hour online Mental Health First Aid course is made up of three modules: a two hour asynchronous module to be completed on your own prior to the course, followed by two- 4 hour synchronous classes via Collaborate Ultra.
