The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) proudly announces the much-anticipated Korea University Men's Hockey Exhibition Tour. This thrilling six-game series set to take place from January 12-31, 2024, will have the Korean team in Lac La Biche at the Bold Centre on January 20th at 7pm. This groundbreaking event not only marks a significant milestone in the evolution of hockey in Asia but also serves as a testament to the enduring sports camaraderie between Canada and South Korea.
The tour kicks off on January 12 at 8:15 PM at Concordia University Thunder's Clareview Arena in Edmonton. The excitement continues with games hosted by NAIT Ooks, Portage College Voyageurs, Augustana University Vikings, SAIT Trojans, and Briercrest College Clippers across various iconic arenas in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
The highlight of the tour for local Lac La Biche Hockey fans will be the clash between the Korea University team and the Portage College Voyageurs on January 20 at 7:00 PM at the Lac La Biche Bold Centre. Portage College is thrilled to showcase its community to the Korean visitors.
This event holds special significance as part of the Korea University Men's Hockey program's application evaluation process to join the ACAC Men's Hockey division for the 2024-25 season. The ACAC is the premiere college sanctioned league in Canada and Alberta is seen as a top hockey athlete producer.

Adding to the excitement, the game coincides with Canada's national "Hockey Day in Canada." Portage College is collaborating with the local minor hockey association to ensure that every minor hockey player is in attendance, creating an unforgettable experience for young aspiring athletes.
