[St. Paul, Alberta]—The Minister of Advanced Education has approved a grant award of up to $198,211 to support Portage College's planning for the St. Paul Campus Right-Sizing project.
The grant will enable Portage College to plan effectively to determine the necessary design, operational, and support features to deliver programs into the future. Replacement of the aging infrastructure is a top priority to meet the program needs of the St. Paul service region.
President and CEO of Portage College Nancy Broadbent is optimistic about the project's impact on the campus, stating, "We anticipate this project to significantly enhance our infrastructure and facilities while also continuing to cater to the evolving needs of our learners."
“The St. Paul campus has a long history of supporting student success, and the Right-Sizing project is an exciting step to ensure this legacy continues. Alberta’s government is proud to support these planning efforts, which will align infrastructure with students' needs and serve the region for years to come,” Said Rajan Sawhney, Minister of Advanced Education.
