Portage College welcomes new President and CEO Stephen Price
July 28, 2025Stephen Price has been selected as the new president at Portage College. Price, who has spent 25 years at Mount Royal University in Calgary, replaces Nancy Broadbent who is retiring from Portage after 35 years, her last six as President. Price begins his new role on October 1.

Forbes has a circulation of more than 500,000 copies in 70 countries around the world. Forbes Media has a reported monthly engagement of its online products of more than 150 million views.

President Nancy Broadbent prepares for her last student intake after 35 years at Portage College
July 16, 2025Portage College President and CEO Nancy Broadbent has announced her retirement for later in 2025. As the summer months lead to the next intake of students, Broadbent says graduation is one of her favourite times.
We acknowledge that Portage College’s service region is on the traditional lands of First Nation Peoples, the owners of Treaty 6, 8 and 10, which are also homelands to the Métis people. We honour the history and culture of all people who first lived and gathered in these lands.
