You can now grow your nursing career close to home. Portage College is thrilled to offer the University of Calgary's Bachelor of Nursing (BN). This gives you the opportunity to complete a Bachelor of Nursing degree granted by the U of C without having to relocate!
The BN degree is a 28-month program that lets learners who are a Licensed Practical Nurse and meet the entrance requirements a chance to improve their credentials and advance their career in the ever-changing health-care system. Build upon your knowledge and prepare to face new challenges through hands on training and clinical experience with Alberta Health Services. Theory courses are delivered online and the nursing skills labs are held at Portage College.
Students have access to college amenities, technology and services. The BN is part of a strategic focus by Portage College to collaborate with other post-secondary institutions to offer degree completion opportunities to those in its service region.
