Ukrainian Refugees

Portage College has made funds available to support prospective students from the Ukraine who have fled their home country for the safety of Canada.

The scholarships will help pay for tuition and mandatory fees. These scholarships will be made available to Ukrainian students who wish to attend their full-time schooling at the Cold Lake, St. Paul, or Lac La Biche locations.

Number of Scholarships:

Portage College have four (4) scholarships available.

Admission Requirements:

The student must be a temporary resident (not a permanent resident or a Canadian citizen) who has left the Ukraine for the safety of Canada due to the ongoing war. The applicant must be currently in Canada under the Canada-Ukraine authorization for emergency travel (CUAET) program.

The student must meet the admission requirements by presenting their educational transcripts. Due to ongoing conflict and the realization that transcripts may not be available, placement screening will be administered based on the program the student is applying for.
