Writing Support

We are now offering writing support through our virtual campus.

Gail Hiar, a Portage College faculty member, is available this semester to provide writing assistance, such as editing, writing support, drafting ideas, APA, MLA or other writing questions you might have. This service is available to all students, regardless of what program you are in. We encourage you to take advantage of having someone look at your papers or writing assignments ahead of time.

Gail has a taught English for 20+ years and is looking forward to working with you. When contacting her, please include your name, your course information, and some details about the assignment you are working on.

Patricia (Trish) Pryce, a Portage College faculty member, provides individualized writing assistance for students in the areas of editing, drafting ideas, APA or MLA formatting, or working with you to find solutions to other writing questions you may have.  Trish is located on the Lac La Biche campus and can meet in person with students there, or is available to meet with students across our service region virtually.
