Each project, totaling 60 hours, offers students the chance to complete up to three projects, earning a stipend of $1,400 each. Funded by the Government of Canada’s Innovative Work-Integrated Learning (I-WIL) Initiatives program, Level UP aims to bridge the gap between education and employment, fostering critical skills for career readiness. Both Portage College and Riipen anticipate significant benefits for students and employers, promoting professional growth and community development.
